WHAT WE OFFER
Three Ways to Study
Each programme is shaped around careful reading and practical engagement. Choose the depth and pace that fits your schedule.
Margin Reader Series
Short textbook-style modules introducing the conceptual vocabulary of modern AI, with margin commentary. Work through at your own pace, with access to a quiet weekly thread for questions.
- Annotated reading modules
- Weekly Q&A thread access
- Self-paced, no deadlines
Studio Cohort
A twelve-week cohort working through practical AI exercises in a small, focused group. Includes weekly live sessions, a course reader, and written feedback on submitted work. Cohort sizes are kept small by design.
- Weekly live sessions
- Written exercise feedback
- Small, intentional cohort
Long Studio Programme
A seven-month programme of structured reading, project milestones, and mentor reviews. Participants build a steady portfolio of practical exercises. Educational in scope — not a formal qualification.

WHY MODELCRAFT
A Different Kind of Learning
Most online learning moves too fast and explains too little. Modelcraft was built around the opposite instinct.
Textbook-Style Depth
Material is written to be read carefully, not skimmed. Concepts are introduced with context and annotated for clarity.
Small, Intentional Groups
Cohort sizes stay small so facilitators can give written feedback on actual work — not just a progress bar.
Written Feedback Culture
Exercises are reviewed in writing. Feedback is substantive, not automated — you'll know where your thinking is going.
No Artificial Urgency
Self-paced options let you read and practice on your schedule. We don't manufacture deadlines that don't serve learning.
Conceptual Grounding
We spend time on the vocabulary and ideas behind AI tools, not just button-clicking walkthroughs. Understanding transfers further.
Honest Scope
We're clear about what a learning programme can and cannot do. No inflated credentials, no vague outcome promises.

FAQ
Questions People Ask
Do I need a background in technology to join?
No specific technical background is needed. The programmes start with conceptual vocabulary and build from there. Participants from writing, business, and design backgrounds have found the material approachable.
How much time should I set aside each week?
The Margin Reader Series is fully self-paced — a few hours per week is enough. The Studio Cohort works well with around four to six hours weekly, including the live session. The Long Studio Programme asks for a steadier commitment across seven months.
Is there a formal qualification at the end?
Modelcraft programmes are educational in scope and do not function as formal qualifications or accredited credentials. What you take away is a clearer understanding of AI concepts and a portfolio of practical work.
Are the live sessions recorded?
Studio Cohort live sessions are recorded and made available to enrolled participants. We recommend attending live when possible — the discussion is where much of the learning happens.
How is the fee paid, and is there a refund policy?
Fees are paid in Malaysian Ringgit via bank transfer or online payment. Refund terms are outlined in the enrolment agreement. Please reach out before enrolment if you have questions about scheduling or suitability.
Can I switch from the Reader Series to a Cohort later?
Yes. Many participants start with the Reader Series to get a feel for the material, then join a Studio Cohort. Reach out and we can talk through what makes sense for your situation.
